SPRING/SUMMER JOB OPPORTUNITY

Mill Woods Soccer has the following Job Opportunities:

POSITION 1:

Senior Trainer

7 weeks – Monday to Thursday (starting May 9 through to June 22)

POSITION 2:

Senior Trainer

July & August – 4 days a week for 2 hours per day (am)

Qualities to be a Successful Candidate:

  • REALLY outgoing, confident personality with a strong presence
  • Quick thinker, 100% reliable and a good team player
  • Understand how to engage young children
  • Ability to lead children through session plans & find your inner child to be playful and fun!
  • Have excellent verbal communication skills to engage both children during classes and parents in progress discussions
  • Able and willing to take ownership of the role
  • Organized and a good sense of time management
  • Monitor recreational, sports or fitness activities to ensure safety and provide emergency or first aid assistance when required
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
  • Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector

Physical Requirements:

  • Be physically fit to both demonstrate and coach soccer training drills
  • Able to lift equipment bag 30-50lbs

The Role is Part-Time

Note: Consistent availability is a must.

For those interested, we do run YEAR ROUND and are growing rapidly, so there is an opportunity to grow with us. The program in September through April is on the Weekend in an indoor facility.

POSITION 3:

Junior Trainers

July & August – 4 days a week for 2 hours per day (am)

Qualities to be a Successful Candidate:

  • REALLY outgoing, confident personality with a strong presence
  • Quick thinker, 100% reliable and a good team player
  • Understand how to engage young children
  • Ability to lead children through session plans & find your inner child to be playful and fun!
  • Have excellent verbal communication skills to engage both children during classes and parents in progress discussions
  • Organized and have a good sense of time management
  • Assemble supplies, sports and game equipment
  • Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector

Physical Requirements:

    • Be physically fit to both demonstrate and coach soccer training drills
    • Able to lift equipment bag 30-50lbs
